Consider Virginia for Your New Home

Virginia is a unique state in that it seems to have something for everyone. No matter what it is you have a taste for, Virginia can provide the appropriate venue. That’s probably Virginia brings in over $20 billion from tourists every year.

Of course, the state is loved by more than just tourists. Virginia homes are full of people happy to live in what MoneyRate.com referred to as the Best State to Make a Living in. Virginia was all designated the state with the highest standard of living, measured by median family income in 2013 according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Chesterfield homes are especially popular in Virginia, due to the county’s success. Over forty international companies have a home in Chesterfield County. This includes notable businesses like Amazon, United Parcel Service and Honeywell International.  Of course, that’s only one small part of the attraction. In 2004, Virginia was called the seventeenth best place to live in America, according to the American City Business Journals. More recently, in 2013, Chesterfield county was awarded nine times by the National Association of Counties. Awards included distinctions for Civic Engagement, Automation of Land Use and Volunteer Program Enhancements.

If you’re in the market to move, especially if you’re looking to retire, Richmond Virginia or anywhere in Chesterfield County may be right for you.
